Movimiento Cosecha is a movement fighting for respect, dignity, and permanent protection for all immigrants. We need people, especially allies who can be trained as crowd safety for actions that Cosecha organizes. The role of crowd safety is to keep people safe from violence, the violence of racist individuals, hate groups and police. There will be an opportunity to apply this training on September 16th, when all of the Cosecha circles in Michigan will be going to Lansing for a Drivers' Licenses for All action from 10am to 5pm. - Trae tu cubre bocas. - Manten la distacia ( 6 ft ). On our independence day (which is celebrated in some countries in Latin America), we are aware of the lack of independence that we unfortunately have. We lack the independence to drive and live without fear, among many other things. Today we continue that fight, not only for licenses, but towards permanent protection, dignity, and respect. Because although our work is our strength, we are more than the profits we generate for the rich. We are a people full of culture, tradition, dreams and hopes, and most of all, people that fight. Come to Lansing, MI on September 16th. THE PEOPLE UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED #LicenseSiPromesasNo #EsencialesNoDisp Remember that we still in the middle of a pandemic, therefore: - If you feel bad, stay home. - Wear your mask. - Keep your distance (6 ft).
